Apologies for the late post, but I'm working night shift for the rest of the week.
Today, I will post the video of Chad Vaughn performing a 285# Snatch.
285# Snatch - Chad Vaughn
Again, the knees are pulled back to get out of the way of the bar's vertical path. We can also notice, his arms stay straight throughout the entire pull. Once the pull is complete (shrug/on toes) he moves back around the bar and pulls himself under the bar for the catch.
Yesterday's video and today's are included to give us an example so that we can correct our own technique. If you can work on the technique points that are giving you trouble, overall improvement will occur. As I or other trainers are in the box, we can observe your lifts and aid in correcting technique from an outside perspective. Self recorded videos work as well. If you would like to send me videos to observe and give points of correction, I am available for that as well.
